The Sport Marketing Association and the new Western Kentucky University Master of Science in Recreation and Sport Administration concentration in Sport Media and Branding have signed a five-year memorandum of agreement to provide mutually beneficial services between the organizations.
The WKU Cohort Program in Sport Media and Branding will pay for up to two years of student memberships in the Sport Marketing Association, which will also include their subscription to the Sport Marketing Quarterly. Both parties will have the right to utilize this partnership as part of their print, verbal, and online marketing materials, including electronic logos. WKU will inform students in the cohort the benefits of being a member of the Sport Marketing Association and will provide a live web
link to SMA’s homepage on their page. In addition, WKU and SMA agree to collaborate on ways which may deepen the partnership including but not limited to faculty and student research, and facilitating presentations at conferences.
